Moto 360 smartwatch appears at Google I/O

Samsung´s galaxy gear series has already been manhandled for a while now and now its time to do the same with the latest device running google´s operating system Android Wear, the Motorola Moto 360. Android Wear is the OS launched by Google to with wearable devices like the Motorola Moto 360, the LG G watch and Samsung´s Gear Live. This the first smartwatch to have a circular design which in itself is drool worthy. I may sound a bit rude here but Samsung´s Gear smart watches look ugly when you compare them with this beautiful smartwatch. The first round round-faced Android Wear is just great looking. The Moto 360 looks just like a regular watch.

It is a bit on the thick side but is lightweight and comfortable to wear. It will be available in a soft genuine leather straps and also in metal bands. The Moto 360 strikes a stunning pose on your wrist and, particularly in stainless steel garb. The fit and finish of the device is top notch.

The chamfered edges of both the glass covering the screen and that metal housing give it a luxurious look and feel, and the thick, split leather strap is premium, too. A bit of design flair has the added benefit of showing off the circular display to the fullest -- looking closely reveals that pixels are packed from edge to edge, no cutting corners or bezels.

The Moto 360 has almost the same UI as we usually see in Google Now. Swiping around the UI (up/down to change cards, right/left to dive deeper into them) is super fast and smooth.

By default, the screen is off, but when you raise your wrist in the standard check-the-time gesture, the screen lights up. Hopefully that will result in some battery-saving. The screen looked very nice and was easy to read. We're assuming that it too was an AMOLED screen because the blacks were super-deep, and that would make sense for power-savings.

One can make the UI look like a real watch, with multiple dial options to choose from, It seems the watch may be monitor fitness amongst other features like, weather updates, GPS navigation, reminders, reading a Hangout message, watching the caller ID or even accepting or declining calls from the watch itself. From the hardware it looks like this smartwatch will only support wireless charging as there is not input source to plug in a wire into the watch. It only has one hardware button to its right.

For now, that's really all we can tell you about the Moto 360 -- that it's a beautiful and sizable smartwatch. Motorola currently had the 360 running a demo mode of Android Wear, so one could not get a feel for how the watch actually will work. That said, Motorola's on its way to proving that sometimes, it's not hip to be a square.

Hopefully the price—the biggest open question— will be as appealing as the looks. Meanwhile, you may have a look at this video.

The unforgettable fragrance

¨Peace¨ is what people desire when they go on a holiday or are on a break. That is exactly what I found on my trip to Igatpuri, Nashik. This was a heartfelt trip with my very close friends last monsoon. Talk about scenic beauty and that is what Igatpuri is all about during monsoons. It is the best place to visit during this season. Adding to the scenic beauty was the fresh fragrance of grass and mud. When we reached there, it was drizzling and the weather was very pleasant. Just as we reached, the first thing we wanted to do was trekking and thats what we started with. Climbing up the beautiful green mountains was not even a bit tiring as we were enjoying the light and fresh fragrance of water combined with grass and mud. The light drizzle was icing on the cake. We wanted to reach the topmost point of the hill and what we experienced on our way was mind blowing. Since it was monsoon, there were beautiful waterfalls on our way towards the top of the mountain. Without doubt, we wanted to bathe in those so we jumped in. The beautiful sound of the waterfall and the pleasing fragrance around made us feel heaven on earth. After a short dip in the waterfall, we headed towards the top and finally reached our destination. This trip was nothing but unforgettable for us. Driving back home, I realised how beautiful nature really is and how much do we miss in our everyday fast life. Natural fragrances are something which we do not experience in a busy city like Mumbai. The smell of wet grass, mud, the sound of water in a waterfall etc. This was my evocative travel experience and what I always look for in a fragrance in natural freshness.

Daawat-E-Khaas

It was dinner time and we wanted to eat, I suggested mexican but that didn't go over well. My friends suggested Indian. I was a unfearful because I obviously knew a lot about Indian food. I was up for it. So, my friends visited and we started what we call, ¨the feast¨!

We wanted anything with Indian sauce to my surprise not spicy, and so we prepared that along with tandori paneer and a spinach side, was awesome with a little kick. The masala was excellent, we had it with paneer and the paneer was tender. The tandori was good, grilled and done right. the veggies that came with the tandori were also awesome. everything had lots of flavor.

I warned those that weren't into spicy foods, the chips that were prepared from the start had a kick...wow; so they added the sweet chutney..it was yum. For desert we wanted to have the fried cheese with honey. I will tell you now, it was not not as bad as it sounds. You must like honey and love sweetness. It was a bit rich for me and the cheese balls were interesting, nothing i'd get again but worth a shot if you like SWEET; I stress sweeet. Our experience was good. We knew exactly how Masala sauce was prepared.

So this was our mouth watering perfect meal. This experience could have become even more memorable with the right glassware. Borosil provides a wide range of mixing bowls, dishes, Bowls plates etc. They say food becomes even more relishable with the right presentation and what makes presentation better than borosil´s glassware.

Jodey Dilon Ko! - Experience

I have learned great many things from participating with Indiblogger. It has changed my entire outlook and attitude toward life. Before my freshman year at college, I was shy, had low self-esteem and turned away from seemingly impossible challenges. Indiblogger has altered all of these qualities.
A faint twinge of excitement floated through my body the night before the Zindagi Indiblogger meet was to be held at The Leela, Mumbai. A hint of anticipation of the coming day could not be suppressed; I still wonder that I slept at all that night. But I did. I slept soundly and comfortably.
After a quick breakfast, I pulled some of my gear together and headed out. The ride of an hour seemed only a few moments as I struggled to reinstate order in my chaotic consciousness and focus my mind.
After lunch, the meet commenced and what I was about to experience was something I had never experienced before. Bloggers gathered in a conference hall, beautifully decorated and aptly lit. In front of us were two large screens which I assumed were for presentation purpose. However, my assumptions were incorrect. The two screens and cameras all around the conference room were set up so that bloggers from two cities, Mumbai and Delhi could connect with each other by way of video conferencing. We have all used video conferencing in our life, but this was different as was not one to one or one to many, it was many to many.
The primary aim of Indiblogger is that people connect and open up themselves and I must say that Indiblogger does that in a very nice manner. The meets are always fun with interesting games and new people. This time it was cross state.
After Mumbai and Delhi Bloggers were successfully connected, an array of questions comparing the two cities were asked to the bloggers. These questions were mostly asked to invoke a competitive sense between bloggers. As the questions were being answered, I noticed that even after being citizens of the same country, we wanted to prove that Mumbai is better than Delhi and bloggers from delhi wanted to prove otherwise. This was what Indiblogger and Zindagi wanted to bring up.
Delhi and Mumbai were samples to represent a larger set of population, India and Pakistan. As we all know, India and Pakistan got separated during partition and so did many families/friends. Indians and Pakistanis are a result of the same ancestors and share the same blood. Even after being in the same country, there was a competitive sense among bloggers of the two cities, Mumbai and Delhi. This competitive sense is only because of demographic change and not because of cultural difference. Just like Mumbai and Delhi are part of the same culture, India and Pakistan too are part of the same culture. Many Indians want to meet their families and friends from pakistan and many Pakistanis want to do the same.
By taking advantage of television & media, an effort to bridge the gap between two countries is being taken by Zindagi, a new channel being set up, which will air Pakistani drama serials in India. Indian Channels are already being aired in pakistan with advancement of technology and our brothers from Pakistan, enjoy Indian channels as much as we do.
This was the first time that I had ever really made a notable realization in anything. This one experience, this one instant, changed me forever. This day I found peace and discovered that brotherhood yields its own sweet fruit. The sun was so bright and brilliant. This feeling was the best.
